HOW TO USE
Hints
1.
Place the appliance on a stable, flat and dry surface, protected from impacts and that is
resistant to heat.
2.
Make sure that there is sufficient space around the appliance of at least 10 cm to allow heat
to escape and provide sufficient ventilation around the grill.
3.
Spread a small amount of cooking oil on the plates.
4.
Make sure the detachable collecting tray (D) is in place, otherwise the juices and fats resulting
from cooking will spill over the surface.
5.
Completely unwind the supply cord and plug the appliance into the wall socket. Once
connected, the power indicator light (B) (red light) lights up.
1.
For grilling food that has been in the refrigerator, take it out one hour before cooking for
more flavourful and tender results.
2.
Sausages should be previously punctured to avoid bursting.
3.
Season the meat with salt only after being grilled, to become more succulent.
4.
For best results, the pieces of meat should not be too thick (approximately 1,5 cm).
5.
For grilling fish fillet, remove as much water as possible with a paper towel.
6.
For more flavorful grilled dishes, place the meat or fish to marinate about 2 hours before
cooking.
6.
Keep the plates (A) closed and wait a few minutes to preheat the appliance.
7.
After the pre-heating time ends, open the top plate (A) through the handle (C) and place the
food on the lower plate (A).
8.
The cooking time depends on the type of food, its thickness and your personal taste.
9.
During cooking, hot steam may be released between the non-stick plates (A). Caution should
be taken to prevent hands from coming in contact with the steam.
10.
Once the cooking process has finished, carefully open the upper plate (A) by the handle (C).
11.
Remove food with a plastic or wooden utensil. Do not use metal utensils as this can cause
damage to the non-stick coating of the plates (A).
12.
If you want to continue to use the appliance, close the upper plate (A) to retain the heat for
further use.
13.
After use, unplug the appliance from the wall socket and let it cool completely.
Note: When using the appliance, the light (B) remains constantly turned on.
The grill plates (A) should not be opened more than a 90° angle to avoid damage the
hinge. Do not force the hinge.
