REMOVING THE RIGHT HAND
AIR SHOCK ABSORBER
1. Remove the front access panel.
2. Remove the air shock securement
pins
by
depressing the locking tab while pulling the
pins
to remove it.
This procedure is much easier
if a deep
1/2", 6 point socket (or 13 millimeter, 6 point)
is used to compress the locking tab of the
plastic pin. Push the socket onto the tapered
end of the pin as far as it will go to compress
the locking tab.
3. Use pliers to grasp the head of the pin and pull to remove. As the pin is removed, the
socket will drop free.
4. When replacing the air shock absorber, make sure to position it with the bell end facing
downward.
5. Lubricate the securement pins with Sil-Glide® before installing them.
