Why can’t I play some MP3 files?
The MP3 file must follow the “layer 3” standard for MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG2.5 formats. Otherwise it must
be converted using a specific software.

My Energy Tablet does not turn on, what can I do?
Make sure the battery is charged enough to power the device. If after leaving the device charging for at least
30 minutes the problem continues, there may be a problem with the installed operating system. Please refer
to the “UPDATING” section in this manual.

Why does it not play some WMA files?
Make sure you are not trying to play WMA files with DRM.

Why can’t I see my video, image or text files when using the music player?
Generally the applications can display only the files supported by the program. Being so, while you browse the
folders using a specific application, it will only be able to show the files associated to this program (songs in
the music player, videos in the movie player, etc). To see all the files stored in the internal memory, start the
FileXplorer application in the applications menu.

Which are the video formats compatible with my Energy Tablet?
Your Energy Tablet can play multiple video formats without recoding, in fact the ability to play different
formats relies on the application used. If a format can not be played you should look for a specific application
that can play that format.

Why can’t I display my .jpg images?
Many digital cameras and image editing software add hidden data to .jpg files. This data can prevent your
Energy Tablet from loading the images. Try deleting the file and saving it again using another name.

Sometimes the screen turns black and the device does not respond.
Press the Reset button to reset the device.

The built-in memory of the Energy Tablet i8 Quad 3G has 8GB, but the available memory is lower, why?
The Android™ operating system and the preinstalled applications need approximately 1,5GB of memory to
work. Therefore the available memory for additional data is less than 8GB.
9.
I updated the firmware but I no longer have any multimedia files or wallpapers. How I can retrieve the contents
that came pre-installed?
Before any system update, we recommend making a backup of everything you want to keep.
In MyEnergyTablet.com you will find not only all the content that came preinstalled in your Energy Tablet but
many more multimedia files and additional wallpapers.

What should I do to be able to install an application?
First make sure that the file has the Android™ application extension (.APK), second Android™ will ask you to
activate the installation of applications from “Unknown sources”, this option is disabled for safety.
