Operating Instructions Text Display
6.2 Text entry
Allows the editing of on screen text within the raster of 11 rows and 28 column:
All characters shown in the character
table (see appendix) can be entered on
each free position. A white character
background identifies the current position
of entry. The cursor position can be
moved in all four directions by the arrow
keys. The character entry works
exclusive in the overwrite mode:
Characters on the current cursor position
are overwritten by entry of new
characters. Wrong characters on the left
side of the cursor can be deleted by
‘
Backspace
’ .
Additional the positions of time and date – if activated (see below) – are shown
coloured in the raster .
The display of the on screen text appears after power-on reset durable.
By reception of protocol data the insertion of the defined data fields (see p.16)
completes the on screen text. After time-out of the
text insert
-timer the on screen text
will be generated anew.
6.3 Time / Date
Date and time display is directly configurable on the main
menu as follow:

Date:
Activation/deactivation of date display. If activated a coloured background
is displayed on the date position. For positioning click with the left mouse button
on the date field (field appears green) and move the field to the right position by
pressed mouse button. After releasing the left mouse button the new position is
confirmed.

Time:
Activation/deactivation of current time display. The configuration is
performed as described in
‘Date’
.
§
Automatic Switch Summer-/Winter time:
Controls the function of automatic
switching between summer and winter time. If this function is activated on last
Sunday of March (begin of summertime) at 02.

Note: The automatic switch will also be set subsequently, if the unit was turned
