Ventilation
The inlet and outlet pipes of the grease separator shall be adequately ventilated.
The vent pipe from the inlet pipeline shall be aligned through the roof of the building. No other
areas shall be ventilated through this ventilation pipe. The size of the ventilation pipe shall be
a minimum of the size of the inlet pipe.
If the inlet pipe upstream the separator is longer than 10 meters, an additional vent pipe of min
DN70 shall be provided, connected as close as possible to the separator.
If the lifting plant is arranged in the discharge line it shall not be connected with the ventilation
system of the inlet pipe.
For all inlet and outlet pipelines longer than 5 meters, separate ventilation pipes of size min
DN70 shall be arranged. The additional vents can be connected to the same stack vent with
the main ventilation.
