Please pay attention to the polarity and do not short-circuit the positive
(+) and negative (-) terminals of the battery!
The LI1210 battery may not be connected in series or parallel with any
other battery to get a higher voltage or bigger capacity!
Before using the LI1210 Lithium-ion battery for the first time, it should
be fully charged!
OPERATION – THE CHARGER
ONLY use the supplied EN
DURO
®
battery charger (model:
LI1210/EP6012F4) to charge the battery. The battery may be charged by
the output terminals.
With CPU control and pulse width modulation (PWM) technology, the charging current
and output voltage is controlled accurately to ensure a fully-charged battery and avoid
over-charging. When charging over the battery terminals, the performance of the battery
may lag.
Do not charge the battery at a temperature below 0 degrees Celsius.
The charger will get hot during charging. Make sure that the charger is
used in place with good ventilation and free of dust. Have at least 10cm
space around the charger.
This charger is not designed as power supply.
The charger should not be opened. Any attempt at modification or repair by the user will
entail the loss of your guarantee.
Charging the battery:
After every use (and before storage) charge the battery immediately.
Check the plug of the charger for damages or loose wires.
Connect the plug of the charger to the 12V DC input jack of the
battery and than connect the charger to the AC power (100-240V,
50/60Hz).
The LED on the charger will light in red, and the charging process
will start. The battery will charge in steps. When the battery is fully
charged, all 4 LEDs will light up green.
MAINTENANCE
In general the LI1210 battery is maintenance-free.
The LI1210 battery can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Do not use any aggressive
cleaning chemicals.
Routinely check the battery’s charge status.
Consider replacing the battery with a new one if you note either of the following
conditions:
The battery run time drops below about 80% of the original run time.
The battery charge time increases significantly.
