Recommended distance from wall to nozzle outer edge ~ 1/6 of the vessel diameter. However, the
device must not under any circumstances be mounted closer than 20 cm (7.87 in) to the vessel wall. If
the vessel wall is not smooth (corrugated iron, welding seams, joints, etc.), it is advisable to maintain
the greatest possible distance from the wall. Where necessary, use an alignment unit to avoid
interference reflections from the vessel wall .
