Troubleshooting

9.1.1

General errors

9.1.2

Displaying messages:

• Onsite display:

– The measured value display shows the message with the highest priority.



See the

"Priority" column.

– The ALARM STATUS parameter shows all the messages present in descending order of

priority. You can scroll through all the messages pending using the S or O key.

• FieldCare:

The DIAGNOSTIC_CODE/DIAGNOSE_CODE parameter displays the message with the

highest priority.



See the "Priority" column.



• Diagnose Transducer Block (FF configuration program):

The DIAGNOSTIC_CODE/DIAGNOSE_CODE parameter displays the message with the

highest priority.



See also Section 9.6 "Response of outputs to errors". Every message is

also output as per the FOUNDATION Fieldbus Specification by means of the XD_ERROR

and BLOCK_ERROR parameters in the Pressure, Service and DP Flow Block. Numbers are

given for these parameters in the following table which are explained on 95.

• You can see a list of all the active alarms via the Diagnostic code/ACTUAL_ALARM_INFOS

parameter.

• You can see a list of all the alarms that are no longer active (event log) via the Last Diag.

• Set the local display brighter by
