Response of outputs to errors

The device makes a distinction between the output behavior "Alarm", "Warning" and "Error".



See the following table and



93, Section 9.2 "Diagnostic information on local display".

Certain problems can be assigned the "GOOD" status via FF communication, see Section 9.4.1.

9.6.1

Analog Input Block

If the Analog Input Block receives an input or simulation value with the status BAD, the

Analog Input Block uses the failsafe mode defined in the FSAFE_TYPE

parameter.

The following options are available by means of the FSAFE_TYPE parameter:

• Last Good Value

The last valid value is used for further processing with the status UNCERTAIN.

• Fail SafeValue
