Assembly diaphragm seal on Cerabar S PMP71
• Philips screw driver size 1
The following tools are required:
• Allen wrench AF2 mm
Disassemble instrument
Housing and sensor assembly must now be separated:
Fill diaphragm seal:
1. Unscrew lid from electronics compartment.
2. If applicable, remove display from electronics module: push the tabs outwards and unplug cable from display module
at the electronics module.
The sensor cable is loosely positioned inside the electronics compartment, protected with a shorting plug.
3. Unscrew the 2 Philips screws from the electronics module and pull the module out of the housing (plug connection).
4. Loosen the set screw approximately 1-2 turns.
5. Unscrew the empty housing counterclockwise from the sensor (9 turns).
Attention: prevent sensor cable from being damaged!
The diaphragm seal must be filled after the welding.
After the filling of the diaphragm seal, the instrument may indicate at the zero point no more than 10% of the maximum cell range.
The internal pressure of the diaphragm seal must be corrected accordingly.

The instrument Cerabar S PMP71 is shipped partially assembled and must be disassembled for the welding.
After welding into the process connection, the sensor assembly must be professionally filled with fill fluid and must be sealed gas tight with
sealing ball and seal screw.
The instrument may only be maintained and repaired by qualified personnel.
Only modular assemblies may be exchanged against identical, original Hauser spare parts !
The device documentation, applicable
standards and legal requirements as well as any certificates have to be observed!
