The description of the selected kit is displayed.

Enter the expiry date of the kit (see packaging of the kit) using the date for-
mat MM/YYYY, e.g. 12/2017.
This entry is mandatory. It is checked whether the expiry date has been ex-
ceeded. After confirming a corresponding message, it is also possible to start
an extraction with a kit past its expiry date.

Run an extraction with several kits simultaneously (see below).
This procedure is recommended for experienced users only. It is possible to use several
kits in one extraction run if these kits use the same extraction protocol. The protocol of
the first kit is used for the extraction run. Details on the other kits is stored as infor-
mation in the project.

Activate the M
ORE
option after entering the data of the first kit.
2.
Enter the number of kits used in the field or set it via the slider (max. 8).
A column of dots (arrow in Fig. 13) appears next to the D
ESCRIPTION
field. The
dots symbolize the order of the kits starting with the uppermost. The active kit
is displayed in red.
3.
Swipe over the column of the dots from the bottom to the top to switch to the next
kit.
4.
Enter the data of the next kit in the input mask.
5.
Repeat the steps (3 – 4) until all kits are entered.
