The use and installation of this product must conform to local codes. In absence of local codes,
use the latest edition of the
National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54 , or International
Fuel Gas Code, Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA C149.1 ; or Propane Storage
and Handlign Code C149.2 , as applicable. This appliance, when installed, must be electrically
grounded in accordance with local codes, or in the absence of local codes with the National
Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70
, if applicable.
For installation in Canada - these instructions, while generally acceptable, do not necessarily
comply with the Canadian installation codes, particularly with piping above and below ground.
In Canada the installation of this appliance must comply with local codes and/or standard CAN/
CGA B149.1 (installation code for propane burning appliances and equipment).

• Do NOT try lighting any appliance.

• Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor’s phone.
• Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call
the fire department.
