Chapter 2: 

Installation 

 

2.1 

Hardware Installation 

 

1. 

Shut down your computer and disconnect your computer’s power cord. 

2. 

Open the case of your computer. 

3. 

Locate an empty PCI slot. 

4. 

Remove the bracket that blocks the selected PCI slot, if there is one. 

 

5. 

Insert the PCI card firmly into the empty PCI slot. 

 

6. 

Make sure there is no loose connector or part inside the computer case. 

7. 

Put the cover back to your computer case. 

8. 

Attach the two external antennas to the connectors on the back of the wireless 

adapter. 

  Note:

 

The 

N150

 Series only has 

one

 antenna.

 

9. 

Reconnect the power cord.

 

10. 

You can turn on your computer now.
