collection and recycling system for electrical and electronic equipment. The user is responsible for taking
the device to a recycling centre at the end of its useful life. Recycling companies remove harmful materials
from the devices and process it according to established directives. This procedure is intended to increase
the amount of reusable materials.

mixed with normal waste. The European Union has implemented a specific collection and
recycling system in which producers are responsible.
