Each unit is pre-programmed so the serial number will appear first in each alarm code.
This can be changed by the user to indicate the site location. There is always an alarm
code at the end of the message after the separator designators 00. An alarm code of
“0” indicates no alarms exist or that all the alarms were cleared. The alarm message
may contain several alarm codes indicating several types of alarms are present.

Turning on the Remote Alarming Function:
The unit must be issued the command ‘rp actv=yes’ to activate the Remote Alarming
Function. If this command is not issued, the repeater WILL NOT report remote alarms.

Remote Alarming Set-up Example:
The following example shows a typical sequence of software commands to configure
an EkoMini
TM
. This assumes the operator has already logged into the repeater as
described in Section 4.1. A complete reference list of software commands is shown in
the next section.
A. Change the three Passwords:
PW 1 = Password 1 change. 5 Characters or Numbers (supervisor’s
Password)
PW 2 = Password 2 change. 5 Characters or Numbers
PW 3 = Password 3 change. 5 Characters or Numbers
B. Set the Site Location Number:
UN = (Unit Name change, 10 numeric characters, Default is the Serial
Number)
C. Set the Report 1 Dial out Telephone Number:
RP 1 DIAL
(Dial out Number. 20 digits)
D. Set The Pin Number (if Applicable):
RP 1 PINN
(Pin Number. 10 digits, maximum)
E. Set Report 2 Dial out Telephone Number:
RP 2 DIAL
(Dial out Number. 20 digits)
F. Set The Pin Number (if Applicable):
RP 2 PINN
