Forwarding a message

Open the message sequence that contains the message you 
want to forward. Tap on the message and select 

Forward

 in 

the options. The text will be copied into a new SMS message. 
Here you edit the text if necessary, add the recipient and then 
send the message.

What is the difference between SMS, MMS, Email, 
Messaging apps and Notifications?

• 

SMS

 (Short Message Service) is a format for short messages 

and only allows text in messages to be sent.

• 

MMS

 (Multimedia Messaging Service) is a type of SMS that 

allows small amounts of data such as photos to be sent in 
addition to text.

• 

Email

 is a messaging system that people are generally familiar 

with from using a computer. You need an email address to 
use it. 

• 

Messaging apps

 are apps that were developed to be used on 

a smartphone. There are lots of different messaging apps, one 
being WhatsApp.

Notifications

 are small pieces of information that your 

smartphone uses to tell you about activities on the phone.
