Benz Sprinter W907 with E1E, E1M or E1S head unit.
If you plan on installing the system by yourself, please read the following instructions care-
fully before you attempt the installation. For any further information about this product, please
contact your authorized EMPHASER dealer.
ABOUT THIS LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM
All components of this component system have been carefully selected and precisely matched.
The Aluminum membrane of the woofers and the center speaker is due to its hardness and
the high natural resonance frequency ideally suited for a detailed and extremely low-distortion
reproduction quality in the intended area of application. The 19 mm Silk dome tweeter convinces
with its brilliant sound and the ability to produce even the finest musical details. At the heart of
the systems are the elaborately designed crossovers: the parts have been defined in intensive
test series in the laboratory as well as in the vehicle, to achieve the best possible phasing of
the tweeters and woofers in the crossover frequency band. The result is immersive musical
enjoyment with vivid natural voices and instruments and their positioning on the imaginary
soundstage as well as an impressive depth of soundstage. EMPHASER wishes you a lot of
fun with this outstanding speaker system.
SET CONTENT
Carefully remove the loudspeakers, crossovers and the accessories from the gift box and
check whether all parts are in good undamaged condition, and match with the set contents
listed below:
■ 2 midwoofer
■ 1 center speaker
■ 1 crossover for center speaker
■ 2 tweeter with inline-crossover
■ 1 manual
ASSEMBLY
This set is compatible with the Mercedes Benz Sprinter model W907 with E1E, E1M or E1S
head unit. For step-by-step instructions on how to correctly disassemble the original loud-
speakers of your vehicle, please contact the respective service workshop. The following
instructions serve as an example.

Pro tip: We highly recommend to insulate the door panel with a combination of our
EMPHASER insulation material ESP-DM1, EM-DM3 and ESP-DM4. Ask your EMPHASER
dealer for more information about damping.
Remove the screws at the points shown in the picture below.
MIDWOOFER
Use a wide plastic wedge to loosen the door panel carefully. We recommend you start from
the bottom and work your way upwards piece by piece. Please note that the door panel is hold
by two hooks at the bottom. These hooks are a great help for the installation and don’t need
to be removed. Now just lean back the door panel, loosen the connection cable and the four
screws that fix the original speaker and install the new EMPHASER loudspeaker. Fix it with
the original screws and connect the original connection cable.
TWEETER
Disassemble the tweeter trims which are located left and right in front of the windshield. Use
with a plastic wedge to pry the tweeters out of the lock. Detach the connection cable from
the original tweeter. Connect the EMPHASER tweeter to the original cable and fix it in the
mounting hole. Pay attention to the handle on the edge of the tweeter housing, which speci-
fies the exact position in order to attach the tweeter correctly. Assemble the tweeter cover.
CENTER
Disassemble the center trim in the middle of the windshield by using a plastic wedge. Pry
out the original center speaker and remove the two connectors. One of the connectors is for
the E-Call system, the other one for the audio system. Connect the provided center speaker
crossover to the connector for the audio system – the second one directly to the second
terminal. Install the center speaker in the dashboard and attach the cover. The installation of
the EMPHASER sound system is complete.
