Quick Start
To get the most from your XPA HC-1 High Current Monoblock Power Amplifier, we urge you to
read the entire manual. If you just can’t wait to listen to it, this section will cover the basics you
need to get started.
• Find a secure location or locations for your XPA HC-1 monoblocks.
• Connect each of your XPA HC-1 monoblocks to a signal source.
• Set the Input Selector switch on each of your XPA HC-1 monoblocks for the type of input
you’re using (unbalanced or balanced)
• Connect each XPA HC-1 to a speakers (4 ohm or 8 ohm) using reasonably heavy gauge
speaker wires (at least 16 gauge).
• Find some music you really like to listen to.
• Turn on your XPA HC-1 monoblocks and your signal source and turn up the volume a bit!
