Fitting the monitor on the bracket
Attach the back of the monitor’s hold points to the bracket. Use mild force to press and slide the monitor down on the bracket
until it clicks. Once the monitor is clicked in, it is fixed.
PSU connection
Plug the power supply into a 230 V AC / 50 Hz mains socket.
Plug the power connector into the described connection on the back of the video monitor.
Video door phone system wiring
(see Fig. 2)
Connection description:
1 – audio – white
2 – GND – black
3 – video – yellow
4 – power +12 V – red
Outdoor camera unit installation
(see Fig. 3, 4)
1. First, choose a convenient location for the outdoor camera unit rain shield and install.
2. Feed the cable through the cable hole into the rain shield and wire the connections at the back of the camera unit.
3. When the camera unit is wired, screw the camera unit back into the rain shield.
Outdoor camera unit: wall-mounted – place the silicon between wall and camera unit to prevent water from seeping into the
unit. The silicon should be placed along the top and two vertical edges. The bottom edge must stay silicon-free to let humidity
evaporate!
Connection cable parameters:
For distances up to 20 m, it is recommended to use a good quality UTP CAT.5 cable (CAT.6 is better, or FTP cable).
For distances over 20 m, is it recommended to use a 5 × 2 × 0.5 mm

or 10 × 2 × 0.5 mm
2
SYKFY cable. To get a higher cross-sectional
area for long distances, it is recommended to double or triple the wires within the cable: (3 × 0.5 mm
2
= 1,5 mm

).

For a basic connection up to 100 m, no co-axial cable is needed for a video signal. For distances over 100 m, a co-axial cable is
recommended for a video signal or you can also use video amplifiers.
For long underground cabling, it is recommended to use telecom cable: f.e. TCEPKPFLE.
Operation instructions
When you press the outdoor unit’s CALL button, a ringing
melody will be heard from the indoor monitor and images
of visitors will appear. The outdoors sounds will be delivered
to monitor as well.
Press the TALK button to talk to visitors
Press the MONITOR button to monitor the front door
Press the UNLOCK buttons to unlock the corresponding door
or open the gate
Maintenance
The monitor is easy to maintain. It is recommended to occasionally clean the monitor with a wet cloth, according to the level
dust in the environment it is installed in.
Warning!
Before cleaning the device, it is necessary to disconnect it from the power supply!
Safety warning:
• Do not place the video monitor close to the TV set or in an environment with a high temperature or humidity.
• Do not touch the TFT LCD display of the monitor with your hands and do not disassemble the outdoor station.
