4. In reinforced concrete structures (cellars, high-rise buildings etc.), the DCF signal reception is weaker, depending on the
conditions. In extreme cases, place the weather station close to a window toward the transmitter.
Reception of the DCF 77 radio signal is affected by the following factors:
• thick walls and insulation, basements and cellars
• inadequate local geographical conditions (these are difficult to assess in advance
• atmospheric disturbances, thunderstorms, electrical appliances with no interference elimination, television sets and com-
puters located near the DCF receiver.
Setting time manually
1. Press and hold the MODE button.
2. Use the + and – buttons to set the 12/24 time format - time zone - hour - minute - year - month - day - calendar language.
Press MODE to move between the values.
Calendar languages are as follows
EN - English
GE - German
IT - Italian
FR - French
NE - Dutch
ES - Spanish
DA - Danish
Indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, unit of temperature
Indoor temperature and humidity is displayed in field No. 6.
Outdoor temperature and humidity is displayed in field No. 1.
Use the button to select the unit of temperature in °C/°F.
Display of maximum and minimum readings of temperature and humidity
Pressing the + button will gradually show the maximum and minimum readings of temperature and humidity.
Hold the + button to delete readings from the memory.
Humidity and weather trends
The arrow shows the trend of indoor/outdoor humidity readings (field No. 8, 16) and the development of weather, field No. 4.

Setting an alarm
Press the ALARM button to choose the alarm clock (AL).
The selection shows in field B.
Press and hold ALARM and use the + and – buttons to set the desired alarm time.
Press the ALARM button to move between the values.
Press the ALARM button to activate an alarm.
The alarm icon will be displayed.
Press the ALARM button again to disable an alarm, the alarm icon disappears.
Snooze and display backlight function (SNOOZE/LIGHT)
Ringing alarm can be moved forward by 5 minutes using the SNOOZE button located on top of the weather station.
Press it when it starts ringing. The alarm icon will be fl Zz.
To cancel the snooze function, press any button on the back side - the alarm icon stops flashing and remains displayed.
The alarm will be activated again on the next day.
Without pressing the SNOOZE button, the alarm is active for 2 minutes.
If the power source is not connected, with only batteries inserted, pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT button will activate backlight
for 5 seconds.
If the power source is connected, pressing the SNOOZE/LIGHT repeatedly allows you to set 3 levels of backlight (Off, Level 1,
Level 2).
Weather forecast
The station forecasts weather on the basis of changes in atmospheric pressure for the next 12–24 hours for an area within the
range of 15–20 km.
Accuracy of weather forecast is 70–75 %.
The forecast icon is displayed in field No. 3.
As the weather forecast may not be 100% accurate neither the manufacturer nor the seller can be held responsible for any loss
caused by an incorrect forecast.
When you first set or reset the weather station, it takes about 12 hours before the weather station begins forecasting correctly.
