Setting the Current Time
Set the current time by rotating the disc clockwise so that the current hours and minutes are in the top
right corner (where the arrow is pointing). Minutes can only be set in 15 minute increments (one segment
= 15 minutes, two segments = 30 minutes, three segments = 45 minutes).
Creating a Custom Switching Programme
1. Push in the segments around the circumference of the rotary disc using a sharp tool (pencil,
screwdriver etc.) to set the switching time of choice. Each segment pushed in turns the socket
on for 15 minutes (4 segments = 1 hour).
2. Push the switch on the side of the timer socket to the bottom position – the timer socket now
follows the programme.
3. Connect the timer socket to 230 V~/50 Hz mains.
4. Plug an appliance into the timer socket. Activation of the timer socket is indicated by a red LED.
The switch on the side of the timer socket is used for switching:
Top position I – the timer socket is always on regardless of the programme.
Bottom position – the timer socket follows the programme.
SAFETY WARNINGS
• Max. inductive load 2 A, max. resistive load 16 A. Do not connect higher loads.
• Do not disassemble the timer socket or submerse it in water or other liquids.
• When cleaning the timer socket, always unplug it from power first. Then clean it using a dry cloth.
• Use the timer socket in dry, indoor areas only.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or
mental disability or lack of experience and expertise prevents safe use, unless they are supervised
or instructed in the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Any use of the device not listed in the previous sections of the manual will result in damage to the prod-
uct and could present danger in the form of a short circuit, injury by electric current, etc. The device
must not be modified or otherwise restructured! Safety warnings must be followed unconditionally.
Do not dispose with domestic waste. Use special collection points for sorted waste. Contact local
authorities for information about collection points. If the electronic devices would be disposed on
landfill, dangerous substances may reach groundwater and subsequently food chain, where it
could affect human health.
