THE THERMOSTAT’S OCCUPANCY SENSOR SHOULD FACE THE BED AREA OF
THE ROOM OR THE AREA WHERE THE OCCUPANT WILL SPEND THE MOST
TIME.
THE THERMOSTAT MUST NOT BE INSTALLED IN THE VICINITY OF METAL
STRUCTURES OR SURFACES INCLUDING METAL AIR DUCTING THAT MAY BE
IN THE WALL. METAL STRUCTURES AND SURFACES SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE
THE RANGE OF THE WIRELESS SIGNAL.
THE THERMOSTAT SHOULD NOT BE INSTALLED DIRECTLY ABOVE OR BELOW
THE HVAC SYSTEM AS IT MAY CAUSE FALSE TEMPERATURE READINGS.
PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE INSTALLATION RESPECTS THE LOCAL ELECTRICAL
CODE. IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE YOUR
INSTALLATION IS CODE COMPLIANT.
