Rosemount Mark III Gas Ultrasonic Meters
Series 100 Option Board: Requires version 1.30 firmware or later.
Series 100 Plus HART Option Board: Requires version 1.60 firmware or later.
Rosemount 3800 Liquid Ultrasonic Meters
Series 100 Option Board: Requires version 1.00 firmware or later.
Series 100 Plus HART Option Board: Requires version 1.60 firmware or later.
Even if your meter has a supported firmware version, it is recommended to check
the Daniel CUI CD included in this kit to see if a later version of firmware is included.
The firmware for your meter can be found under one of the following directories on
the CD.
• Ultrasonic Gas\Rosemount Mark III Firmware
• Ultrasonic Liquid\Rosemount 3800 Firmware
Use the Program Download utility under the Tools pull down menu in Daniel CUI to
upgrade the firmware in the meter if necessary. Clicking F1 with the Program
Download utility open will display a complete help topic on how to perform the
download.
2. Remove power to the unit and remove both end caps from the upper electronics.
3. Push the locking mechanism on both card guides to the unlocked position as
shown.
