4.1
Login Credentials
In PACEdge there are few independent sets of credentials:
1.
Linux and Cockpit
2.
Node-RED
3.
Grafana
4.
InfluxDB
5.
MySQL
6.
Portainer
7.
Chronograf
By default all login credentials in PACEdge are set to the following:
User Name: admin
Password: edgestack
It is highly recommended to change the passwords at the first login, consult the Secure
Deployment Guide for details. Changing Linux/Cockpit password at first login is enforced by design.
4.2
PACEdge System Level Settings
PACEdge is Linux based software but designed to be user friendly with a graphical user interface
(Cockpit) for all basic configuration tasks. To access Cockpit, open browser, and type in the IP
address of PACEdge. This will bring you to the home page, where you can click on the Cockpit icon.
4.2.1
System Configuration Changes via Cockpit
Cockpit supports most system configuration tasks, such as:

Changing OS/Cockpit password
•
Adding /Removing users accounts
•
Modifying IP addresses, VLANs, enabling Firewall
•
Managing Storage
•
Managing Docker Containers
•
Monitoring CPU, Memory, Network, Storage usage, and performance
•
Analyzing system logs
•
Monitoring system services and performing system updates
•
Shortcuts to other PACEdge applications
•
Linux Terminal (for users that desire further customization)
