4. Remove the electrical connector from the coil.
5. Release the two mounting screws on the valve and remove the valve from the
mounting surface.
This completes disassembly.
12 Disposal
u
Dispose of the valve and any escaping greases and lubricant in accordance
with the national regulations in your country.
13 If malfunctions occur
WARNING
Danger of injury by dismantling the TV04-CV!
Compressed and loaded springs may suddenly be released when dismantling
the valve.
1. Never dismantle the valve.
2. Do not attempt to perform any unauthorized repairs.
u
Check the connections, operating voltage, and working pressure of the rele-
vant system part if malfunctions occur.
Additional help for malfunctions can be found in the following table:
Malfunction
Possible cause
Remedy
Valve does not
switch
Insufficient control pressure.
Increase the control pressure.
Valve is not leaktight at all.
Disassemble it and send it, together
with a description of the error, to
AVENTICS GmbH.
Incorrect pin assignment of the
electrical connector
Check and correct the pin assign-
ment of the electrical connector.
Use pre-assembled connecting ca-
