Removal And Proper Disposal of Exhausted Batteries
Replacing the Rechargeable “AA” 1.2V 600mA Ni-Cd battery
1.) (a.) Insert the end of a straightened
paper-clip, toothpick, or similar
device into the small hole on the end
cap to depress the locking tab and
release the cap.
(b.) Remove the cap completely.
2.) Slide the exhausted battery out of the flashlight.
Caution:
Exhausted Ni-Cd battery must be disposed of properly.

Do not dispose of battery in fire.
3.) Insert the fresh battery into the flashlight as shown.
4.) (a.) Turn the end cap until the arrow
mark on the end cap is aligned with
the arrow mark on the flashlight
body.
(b.) Replace the end cap by pushing
it on to the flashlight body until it locks
in place.
IMPORTANT
: after installing a fresh battery the flashlight should be recharged
for 24 hours before initial use.
