BEFORE FIRST USE
1.
Remove all packaging material.
2.
Clean the cooking plates with a soft damp
cloth then dry them.
3.
Uncoil the mains cable completely.
4.
When first use, the device may give off a slight odor. This is normal and will not last for long.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Connect the device to an appropriate socket. Both power light and heating light illuminate.
2.
As soon as the required temperature is reached, the heating light will be off and then you can begin waffle
making.
3.
Open the appliance at the handle by unlocking the handle lock.
4.
For best results, lightly spray the cooking plates with some cooking oil before using. This will assist in the
removal of the waffle after cooking.
5.
Pour the prepared dough onto the lower cooking plate and distribute it evenly. Please ensure that the
dough does not flow over the edge of the cooking plate.
6.
Hold the upper cooking plate at the handle and close the waffle machine. Make sure that the handle lock
is engaged.
7.
Bake the waffle for approx 3-5 minutes depending upon the degree of browning required. During this
period, the heating light will illuminate from time to time.
8.
Open the waffle machine as described above and remove the waffle with a plastic spatula. Do not use any
metal objects (e.g. knife, fork etc.) as they will scratch the coating of the cooking plates.
9.
If you wish to bake more waffles, pour in more dough immediately.
10.
When you have finished baking, remove the mains plug.
