Check the side stand ignition cut-off system:

•

Sit astride the motorbike. 

•

With the side stand in the down position, attempt to start and ride the motorbike. If it 
starts, stop immediately.

•

The motorbike should not start.

•

If the motorbike starts with the side stand down, see your authorized dealer for ser-
vice.

Lifting the Motorbike

When lifting the motorbike is required, be sure to position the lifting device on the steel frame 
tubes and not on the bottom of a battery.
