Anti-theft Guidelines
1.
Never leave the ignition key in the switch.
2.
Purchase a lock for your motorbike and use it. Consult your EMB dealer.
3.
Park your motorbike in a locked garage whenever possible.
4.
Use an alarm system if your motorbike is so equipped.
Maximizing Your Range
Practicing the following riding habits will help maximize the range of your motorbike:
1.
Increase speed gradually instead of using jack-rabbit starts.
2.
Maintain as steady a pace as possible.
3.
Try to anticipate stops and coast when possible.
4.
In stop and go traffic, try to maintain a slow but steady pace. Avoid repeated stopping and
accelerating if possible.
5.
Avoid speeds over 30 mph.
6.
When braking, make use of the electronic-regen braking as much as possible.
7.
Try to plan your route to avoid hills if possible. You’ll use less energy if you have to go a
little out of your way than if you have to climb a steep hill.
8.
Properly inflate tires and check often.
