11. Maintenance
11.1 Front fork dismounting

Dismounting
-
Stop the motorcycle (
9.5).
-
Install the motorcycle on a stand (
12.1).
-
Remove the front plate (
11.1).
-
Remove the front mudguard (
15.1).
-
Dismount the front brake caliper with a 5mm allen key.
-
Unscrew the upper and lower clamp with 4mm Allen key
-
Slide the fork to remove it from the clamp
Mounting
-
Slide the fork inside the clamp one by one
-
Adjust the position on the fork with the distance / mark on
the upper (second mark is the standard position) ²

Screw the M6 screws of the clamp at 11 Nm
-
Install the front caliper with the M8 screws and a 5mm
allen key, tightening at 10 N.m
-
Install the front wheel, the front wheel axle, and tight the
40 N.m.
-
Use the fork slowly (3-4 times) to adjust the fork
-
Tight the screw under the right fork at 6N.m.
-
Mount the front mudguard and his support. It should be
mounted without any constraints, and tight it at 8Nm.
Take care to test the performances of the front brake before
riding, it
’
s possible that during mounting the fornt caliper piston
should be not ready to brake directly, make some braking with the
handlebar lever.
