The CAL data of F1 .. F4 can only be lost through dead empty of internal
batteries or by overwriting existing data. F1 .. F4 will be cleared and the
calibration-stores will be marked invalid.

Together with the CWS 500A the user will get a software (ICD) which
supports the following functions:
1. The CAL data stored on a disk can be transmitted from the PC to the
CWS 500A (down loading).
2. CAL data generated by the CWS 500A can be transmitted to the PC and
stored on a disk (up loading).

Therefore a nearly unlimited number of CAL data can be generated,
managed and included in the actual operation of the CWS 500A. Generally,
ICD has to be used if the operator is working with more than 4 CDN’s or
clamps, so that the internal stores F1 .. F4 are not sufficient.
Additionally the safety for data storage is guaranteed.
ICD only handles the two functions explained above.
As an option ICD is available with different access levels and capabilities
enabled by corresponding licenses. Having such licenses offers complete
reporting tools with user-adjustable headers to generate and print test
reports. This includes event protocols and Cal data. Another license code
enables the implementation of external measuring devices when they are
controllable via IEEE488 (GPIB)-interfaces.
