Measurement Using the Digital Interface (RS232) of
the Different BioProTT™ Flow Meters
Via the asynchronous serial communication port the different BioProTT
TM
flow meters can
communicate with a host system.
The interface must be initialized to the following parameters:
Baud rate 38400 Baud
Bits 8 data bits
Start bit 1
Stop bit 1
Parity no
The data transmission runs without any request from the host system.
The following commands are available via the digital interface.

Status Information Request
The sensor status information consists of an
ASCII data string with the following
information.
Consist of the sensor serial number (16
Bytes), tube size, tube type, medium and
temperature of the sensor.
After a blank as delimiter the number of
sensor parameter tables is displayed as
ASCII value in the following 6
characters.
Consist of the flow meter serial number
and SW-Version number.
The data string is finished by <cr> and
<lf>.
