• Stand the electric kettle on a stable, level sur-
face.
• The kettle is only intended for indoor domestic
use. Do not store the kettle outdoors.
• Do not plug this unit into a wall socket in a
bathroom, near a dishwasher or near a damp
area/wet surface.
• Do not immerse the power cord, plug or the
electric kettle in water or any other liquid (risk of
fire, electric shock and injury).
• Make sure that the outside, electrical connec-
tions and base of the kettle are clean and dry.
• Do not touch hot surfaces (particularly stain-
less steel surfaces)! Lift the kettle by the handle
(never in any other way).
• Remove the plug from the wall socket when not
using the kettle or before cleaning it. Wait until
the kettle cools down before cleaning it.
• Only use accessories recommended by the
manufacturer (use of any other accessories may
result in fire, electrical shock or injury).
• The kettle may only be used together with the
base supplied with it.
