MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before you start cleaning the refrigerator, remove the mains plug from its socket.
Use a clean sponge and a non-abrasive, mild detergent mixed with warm water. Do not use
abrasive or powerful detergents. Wash all surfaces by hand, rinse off and wipe down carefully.
Do not apply cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleach or cleaning agents containing oil
to plastic or rubber small parts.
Never use paper towels, glass cleaners, scouring agents or flammable liquids on plastic parts,
as such products may scratch or damage the material.
Clean using a cloth moistened with the detergent solution and then wipe down with a soft cloth.
RECYCLING
This product contains R600a refrigerant.
When the product has reached the end of its useful life it must not be dis-
posed of as household waste. The product contains valuable materials that
can be re-used. It should therefore be handed in for recycling at the end of its
life. If you buy a replacement product, the appliance can be returned to the
point of sale, or to the electrical waste disposal point at a municipal recycling
centre. Do not resort to fly-tipping. Harmful substances can leach into the
groundwater and eventually enter the food chain.
LONG-TERM STORAGE
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time:
Disconnect the refrigerator from the power supply by removing the plug from the wall socket.
Clean and wipe down the inside of the refrigerator as per the instructions in the Maintenance
and Cleaning section. Leave the door open to prevent any unpleasant odours forming while the
refrigerator is not in use.
