1. SAFETY NOTES
1.1 Operating manual
Read this operating manual carefully before using the appliance.
Keep the operating manual for future reference. Include the operating
manual if you pass on the appliance to someone else.
Failure to follow the operating instructions can lead to severe injuries as well as
damage to the appliance.
We take no responsibility for damages that result from failing
to follow these operating instructions.
1.2 Warning symbols
Instructions that are intended to protect your safety are
highlighted with special symbols. Always follow these
instructions to avoid accidents and damage to the appliance:

Warning concerning health hazards and describing possible risk of injury.
Attention
Warning concerning possible danger to the appliance or other objects.
NOTE: These symbols highlight tips and information for you.
1.3 Children
• Never leave the appliance unattended, and take special care if children or
persons who cannot judge dangers are nearby.
• People (including children) who are unable to safely operate the appliance
on account of their physical, sensory or mental abilities or their lack
of experience or knowledge should only use this appliance under the
supervision or instruction of a responsible person. Keep the appliance out of
reach of people in these groups.
• Packaging materials are not toys. There is danger of suffocation.
