Connector Assignments

3.2

ADAP-200 Connectors

3.2.1 8-bit SCSI

Single-ended 8-bit SCSI signals are fed into row A and C of the
VMEbus P2 connector (X2002). An ADAP-200 is plugged onto the
rear side of the backplane to interface to standard 8-bit SCSI
connectors (a 50-pin flat cable connector)

If the BAB 740 is located at either end of the SCSI bus. J1601 must
be installed for signal termination, otherwise J1601 must be
removed.

All odd pins of the 50-pin SCSI connector except pin 25 are
connected to ground. Pin 25 is left open.

Pin 26 is connected to +5 V via a Shottky diode to supply power to
