11. Commissioning

For meters

without oil pump

:continuewithpoint“Placingthesystemintooperation”.

Meters

with oil pump

mustbeprovidedwithinitiallubrication.

Before commissioning:

– First open the

cover

ontheoilsupplytank.

– Filltheoilsupplytankwiththesupplied

oil

– The

oil quantity

issufficientwhentheoillevelisvisibleinthestrainer.

– Operatethe

oil pump as instructed in section “Maintenance and Lubrication”

and only

thenclosetheoilsupplytank.

Placing the system into operation

Inordernottodamagethemeter,

–

slowly fill

the system until operating pressure is reached.

– The

pressure rise

maynotexceed350mbar/s.Youshouldalsouseabypasslineforfilling

(recommendation:12mmpipediameter).

– Do not exceed the

measuring range

evenbriefly!

– Conduct a

tightness test

Important!

Dirtparticles,suchasweldingbeads,swarfandotherforeignbodies,maybecon

tainedinthegasforashortwhileafterinstallation.

For this reason, always fit a coarse filter

in order to avoid damage to the measuring unit.
