Windows Vista has been designed with an additional
protection for all files in the folder C:\Program Files and
any attempt to overwrite any files in the folder will be
forbidden by the OS. Consequently, this protection will
render the application unable to apply the
configurations that the user has made and lead to
application error. Should your current OS have similar
protection, be sure to disable it or seek assistance from
your system administrator.
When installation is complete, the system will create a
shortcut icon for Home Integrated System on the
desktop and
in the Start Menu. Simply
double click on the icon to activate the Home
Integrated System.

Home Integrated System
Operating Instructions
When you attempt to configure the Home Box via
Home Integrated System, please take note of the
following during the process:
1.
Do not remove the Wireless Key from
your system while Home Integrated
System is still running as this may
cause the application to freeze.
2.
Do not configure Home Box using its
control panel while Home Integrated
System is still running as this may
result in data inconsistency.
3.
With the exception of actions such as
Add Device / Replace Device /
Remove Device, in order for other
settings to take effect, the Sync
function must be used to apply the
new settings to the Home Box.
When you activate Home Integrated System, the
system will automatically check to see if the Wireless
Key has been connected to the PC. If a Wireless Key
has been found, the system will automatically access
relevant data from the Home Box. The process will take
approximately two minutes; please wait for the system
to read the data.
Once the system has finished reading the data, the
system will prompt the user for Admin password.
Please note that in order to operate the system, you
must enter the correct Admin password. The factory
preset Admin password for Home Box is “1234”. For
security reasons, it is recommended that once you log
into the system, go to Settings – System – User and
change the default Admin password.
You will be taken to the main operating screen after the
system has validated the password you have entered.
The Home Integrated System is made up of five
primary functional modules, namely:
1.Home Page
2.Sync
3.Event Log
