3.5 Multifunctional Endpiece
Elma Laser 3 can be adapted for the following measuring situations: (See Figure E).

For measurement from an edge, fold* out the Endpiece until it first locks in place.
(Reference bottom )

For measurements from a corner, fold* out the End piece completely, until it locks in place.
(Reference End piece )

*Note! The End piece has 3 positions, turn Elma Laser 3 and open the Endpiece:
Pos. 1 Endpiece, In normal position, push left to fold out.
Pos. 2 Endpiece, fold out until it first locks in place.
Pos. 3 Endpiece, fold out, completely.
* From the backside, push the Endpiece lightly to the left to fold it out.
Do the same the opposite way to pos. 1. See (Figure F)
3.6 Beep Setting
Click Beep/UNITS button to switch the beep indicator on or off.
3.7 Distance Unit Settings
Click and hold the button to change to the preferred unit. (m, ft. in, ft + in)
