CAUTION: Before inserting or extracting the SIM card, deactivate the GSM line (TRX Telephone Menu
- Advanced1 - Telephone networks - Enable - GSM - Disable).
6. Insert the SIM Card as follows:
release the location cover by moving it in the direction shown by the OPEN arrow.
Insert the SIM Card in the specific location.
Close the cover and block it by moving it in the direction shown by the LOCK arrow.
3.3.4 ASSEMBLY OF THE EXTRA PS30 POWER SUPPLIER
To install the extra PS30 power supplier in the control panel do as follows:
1. Fix the PS30 power supplier to the bottom of the control panel using the screws supplied with the power pack.
2. Fix the two wire straps supplied with the control panel to the bottom of the control panel, using the specific supplied
screws.

Remove the bridge situated on the J7 connector
and connect the group of 3 power supplier polarized
connectors (long wire) to the control panel main board: the connectors marked 1 and 2 to the batteries (J6 and
J13 respectively) and the one with 4 contacts to the INPUT for the external power, as shown by the figure.
4. Connect the group of two power supplier polarized connectors (short wire) to the control panel lithium thionyl
batteries.
5. Hold still the power supplier cables using the two wire straps supplied.
3.3.5 ASSEMBLY OF THE LOCAL PC INTERFACE
It is possible to assemble a serial type RS232 PC interface in the control panel or, alternatively, a USB interface.
Their purpose is to enable the system programming from a personal computer, by means of a Fast Link software.
To assemble one of these interfaces, do as follows:
1. Cut the power supply to the control panel
2. Insert the supplied nylon pipe in the specific hole on the control panel main board
3. Insert the interface male connector in the female connector (SERIAL INTERFACE) of the main board and hook
the nylon pipe on the interface.
4. Fix the supplied nylon pipe in the specific hole on the control panel main board.
Warning: after the programming is finished, remove the interface before closing the control panel again.
3.3.6 IMG30 BATTERY
It is possible to equip the IMG30 module with an extra 3.6 V lithium thionyl battery (see figure par. 3.2.1
ASSEMBLING OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES).
