2. Prepare the water inlet line to connect to the Remote
Chiller unit.
3. Place the black insulation tubing over the 3/8" blue
water tubing.
4. Connect the 3/8" poly tube from the potable water
source to the IN port of the filter.
a. Connect the pressure regulator and shut-off valve
to the filter inlet.
b. Firmly insert the filter into the filter head, then twist
the filter clockwise to secure.
5. Fill the ice bank in the Remote Chiller unit.
a. Make sure the Remote Chiller's power switch is in
the OFF position.
b. Remove four Phillips screws and the cover from
the back of the chiller.
Note:
This reveals the overflow tube.
c. Remove the plug from the fill port of the ice bank.
Insert the 3/8" water line into the water inlet port to
fill the ice bank of the Remote Chiller.
d. Note:
An overfill port is located behind the panel.
This panel can be removed to access the overflow
port but it is not necessary if care is used when
filling the tank
.
Slowly fill the ice bank until the water reaches the
maximum fill line on the overflow tube. Do not over
fill the ice bank of the Remote Chiller.
e. Once the Remote Chiller is filled, remove the water
line and replace the plug.
Note:
Residual water may spill out of the fill port.
This is completely normal. Wipe the residual spilled
water with a dry cloth.
6. Connect the 3/8" water supply line to the IN WATER
port on the Remote Chiller.
