Keep Working
USE AND CARE OF THE SERVICE TOOL
CAUTION
Use clamps or another practical method to secure and hold the work piece on a stable platform. Holding the
piece by hand or against the body is unstable and may cause loss of control of the maneuver.
Do not force the tool. Use the correct tool for the application. The correct tool will perform a better and safer
work if the capacity for which it is designed is used.
Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on or off. Any tool that can not be controlled with this
switch represents a hazard and must be replaced.
Disconnect the battery pack from the tool and place the switch in the lock or off position before making any
adjustments, changing accessories or storing the tool. These preventive measures reduce the risk of the
machine starting accidentally.
Store tools that are not being used out of the reach of children or untrained persons. The tools are dangerous
in the hands of users who do not have training for their use.
When not in use, keep the battery pack away from other metal objects such as paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws, or other metallic objects that can make a connection between one terminal and another. If the battery
terminals are shorted, sparks, burns or fires can occur.
Keep the tools with care. Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Correctly maintained tools with sharp cutting
edges are less likely to jam and are easier to control.
Check that there are no misaligned or jammed moving parts, broken parts, or any other situation that could
affect the operation of the tool. If the tool is damaged, repair it before using it. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained tools.
Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. The right accessories for
a tool can be dangerous if they are used in another.
SERVICE
Only qualified repair personnel should service the tool. Service or maintenance performed by unqualified
personnel could result in a risk of injury.
When repairing the tool, use only identical parts to the originals. Follow the instructions in the "Maintenance"
section of this manual. The use of unauthorized parts or non-compliance with maintenance instructions may
create a risk of electric shock or injury.
RULES AND / OR SPECIFIC SAFETY SYMBOLS
CAUTION
Hold the tool by the insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the cutting tool can
make contact with hidden wiring. Contact with an active wire will cause exposed metal parts of the tool to
make contact and cause a shock to the operator.
