INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER CORD
Follow the instructions below when using an exten-
sion cord:
• Position the extension cord so that it does not
hang over a kitchen worktop or tabletop, so that
children cannot reach it and so that it does not
create a trip hazard.
• Do not pull the power cord (make sure that the
power cord is not twisted or used incorrectly).
BLENDING TIPS
• Pour in the liquid first (even if the recipe tells you not to do this).
• Cut firm fruit and vegetables into smaller pieces (around 2–2.5 cm).
• Do not overfill the sport bottle. If the motor stops, switch off the unit imme-
diately and unplug it from the mains supply (let it cool down for at least 15
minutes). Then remove some of the ingredients and continue blending.
• This blender should not be used for mashing potatoes, whisking egg whites
or cream substitute, mixing firm dough or mincing raw meat.
This unit is fitted with a resettable thermal fuse to prevent damage
to the motor if it is overloaded. If the motor stops unexpectedly,
switch off the unit immediately and unplug it from the mains supply
(let it cool down for at least 15 minutes).
