Safety/Installation Considerations
• Disconnect power before installing, adding or changing any component.
• To avoid a hazard to children, account for all parts and destroy all packing materials.
• Lights are not rated for damp or wet location installation.
• Note, this light is susceptible to damage by electrostatic discharge, use care when handling.
• For safety purposes, tape light installations must be used with a Class 2 power device.
• The tape light will come in a 108’ roll, but
can only be installed to a maximum of 54’
. Installing
lengths longer than 54’ could cause a fire or electrical hazard, will affect the tape lights
performance and will void the warranty.

The mounting means provided with this tape light has not been tested in every install application. Specialty applications
where mounting failure could cause damage to people or property should use supplemental mounting methods.

Determine the installation location and measure out the necessary length on your tape light. Cut between
the solder joint and LED. The tape light can be cut with scissors as shown below1. Failure to cut on these
intervals will damage the light.

To make a proper connection, the paper backing and tape on the light should be removed before sliding
the light into the connector. Slide the light into the connector and screw the two screws down.
