O P E R A T I O N
DMX Mode:
Operating through a DMX controller give s the user the freedom to create their own
programs tailored to their own individual needs. This function also allows you to use your fixtures
as spotlights. The Indy Hex Par has 4 DMX modes: 6 Channel mode, 7 Channel mode, 8 Channel
mode, and 11 Channel mode. See pages 19 - 21 for each mode ’ s DMX traits.
1. This function will allow you to control each individual fixture’s traits with a standard DMX 512
controller .
2. T o run your fixtu r e in DMX mode p r ess the MODE button until “DMX MODE ADDR:XXX” is
displayed. “XXX” r ep r esents the displayed DMX add r ess. Use the UP or DOWN buttons to
sc r oll th r ough and find your desi r ed DMX add r ess.
3. After you have set your DMX add r ess p r ess the SET UP button so that “CHAN:XX” is
displayed. “XX” r ep r esents the cur r ent DMX Channel mode that is displayed. Use the UP or
DOWN buttons to sc r oll th r ough the DMX Channel modes.
4. After you have chosen your desi r ed DMX Channel mode plug in the fixtu r e via the XLR
connections to any standa r d DMX cont r olle r .
RGB W A+UV Dimmer Mode:
1. Plug the fixtu r e in and p r ess the MODE button until “MANUAL” is displayed. Then p r ess the
SET UP but ton to sc r oll th r ough RGB W A & UV colors.
2. When “RED:XXX” is displayed you a r e in Red dimming mode. P r ess the UP and DOWN
buttons to adjust intensit y .
3. When “GREN:XXX” is displayed you a r e in G r een dimming mode. P r ess the UP and DOWN
buttons to adjust intensit y .
4. When “BLUE:XXX” is displayed you a r e in Blue dimming mode. P r ess the UP and DOWN
buttons to adjust intensit y .
5. When “WHIE:XXX” is displayed you a r e in White dimming mode. P r ess the UP and DOWN
buttons to adjust intensit y .
6. When “AMBR:XXX” is displayed you a r e in Amber dimming mode. P r ess the UP and DOWN
buttons to adjust intensit y .
7. When “U V :XXX” is displayed you a r e in UV dimming mode. P r ess the UP and DOWN buttons
to adjust intensit y .
8. After you have adjusted the RGB W A & UV colors to make your desi r ed color you can then
activate st r ob ing by p r essing the SET UP button to enter the st r obe mode.
9. “STROB.XX” will be displayed, this is st r obe mode. The Flash can be adjusted between 00
(flash o f f) to 15 (fastest flash).
Color Change Mode:
1. Plug the fixtu r e in and p r ess the MODE button until “JUMP RUN SNAP:XX” is displayed.
“XX” r ep r esent a number between 01 - 16.
2. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to find your desi r ed color change mode.
3. P r ess the SET UP button and “SPEED:XX” will be displayed. Use the UP and DOWN buttons
to adjust the speed of the color change.
