FLAMMABLE MATERIAL WARNING
Keep devices minimum 5.0 feet (1.5m) away from flammable materials and/or pyrotechnics.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
A qualified electrician should be used for all electrical connections and/or installations.
OVERHEAD RIGGING REQUIRES EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE, INCLUDING AMONGST OTHERS
CALCULATING WORKING LOAD LIMITS, INSTALLATION MATERIAL BEING USED, AND
PERIODIC SAFETY INSPECTION OF ALL INSTALLATION MATERIAL.
IF YOU LACK THESE QUALIFICATIONS, DO NOT ATTEMPT THE INSTALLATION YOURSELF.
IMPROPER INSTALLATION CAN RESULT IN BODILY INJURY.
BEFORE RIGGING/MOUNTING FIXTURE TO ANY METAL TRUSS/STRUCTURE OR CEILING, A
PROFESSIONAL EQUIPMENT INSTALLER MUST BE CONSULTED TO DETERMINE IF THE
METAL TRUSS/STRUCTURE OR CEILING IS PROPERLY CERTIFIED TO SAFELY HOLD THE
WEIGHT OF THE LIGHT FIXTURE. BEFORE MOUNTING FIXTURE TO ANY SURFACE OR
STRUCTURE, MAKE SURE THE SURFACE OR STRUCTURE CAN HOLD A MINIMUM POINT LOAD
OF 10 TIMES THE WEIGHT OF THE DEVICES.
DO NOT MOUNT THE FIXTURE TO A CEILING SURFACE MADE OF DRY WALL!
FOR ADDED PROTECTION, MOUNT FIXTURE IN AREAS OUTSIDE WALKING PATHS, SEATING
AREAS, OR IN AREAS WERE UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL CAN REACH THE FIXTURE.
NEVER STAND DIRECTLY BELOW THE FIXTURE WHEN MOUNTING, REMOVING OR
SERVICING.
FIXTURE MUST ALL BE INSTALLED FOLLOWING ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL, AND COUNTRY
COMMERICAL ELECTRICAL AND CONTRUCTION CODES AND REGULATIONS.
IP65 R A TED
An IP rated lighting fixtu r e is one, which is commonly installed in outdoor envi r onments and has
been designed with an enclosu r e that effectively p r otects the ing r ess (entry) of exte r nal fo r eign
ob jects such as dust and wate r . The Inte r national P r otection (IP) rating system is commonly
exp r essed as “IP” (Ing r ess P r otection) followed by two numbers (i.e. IP65) whe r e the numbers
define the deg r ee of p r otection. The first digit (Fo r eign Bodies P r otection) indicates the extent of
p r otection against particles entering the fixtu r e and the second digit ( W ater P r otection) indicates the
extent of p r otection against water entering the fixtu r e. An IP65 rated lighting fixtu r e is one, which
has been designed and tested to p r otect against the ing r ess of dust (6) and high - p r essu r e water
jets f r om any di r ection (5).
MARINE/COAS T AL ENVIRONMENT INS T ALL A TIONS
Please note although this fixtu r e is IP rated, the fixtu r e is NOT suitable for marine and/or coastal
envi r onment installations. Installing this fixtu r e in a marine and/or coastal envi r onment may cause
cor r osion and/or excessive wear to the interior and/or exterior components of the fixtu r e. Damages
and/or performance issues r esulting f r om installation in a marine and/or coastal envi r onment will
void the manufactu r es warranty and will NOT be subject to any warranty claims and/or r epairs.
