USING YOUR APPLIANCE
1. Add your prepared produce into the
removable trays. The produce should
be placed in a way which allows air to
circulate freely between the individual
units and they should not be layered so
as to be higher than the MAX level of each
tray.
2. Place each tray on to the unit. Make sure
they are properly stacked.
3. Put the upper lid onto the appliance. The
lid should never be removed during the
drying process. Make sure there are no
gaps, from over-filled trays or haphazard
tray placement.
4. Plug the appliance into a suitable power
socket and press the power button, the
dehydrator will begin to operate. The
default temperature is 35 ˚C.
5. You can dry the food according to your
preference. To adjust the temperature
simply turn the dial to the setting you
want.
6. After you have finished drying the
produce, turn off the power, unplug the
appliance from the socket and allow the
products to cool down. Put the dried
produce into a suitable container/package
for freezing and put into your freezer.

Hints And Tips:
• Wash any food/produce and then dry it
before adding it to the dehydrator.
• Make sure there is no water in any of the
trays, or the unit.
• Cut away any spoiled areas of the
produce.
• Slice the produce, if required, to ensure
an even spread.
• The duration of the drying placement
will be affected by the thickness of the
produce.
• Some fruit will have a protective skin that
will affect the drying process, increasing
the time it takes to process it. To mitigate
this, boil the fruit for 1-2 minutes,
afterwards add to cold water, and then
rub dry with a cloth.
Drying Fruit:
• Wash the fruit, and then dry by rubbing
with a cloth. Excess water will prolong the
drying process vastly.
• Remove the pit from fruit and large seeds
where possible.
• Slice the fruit to reduce the drying time.
Drying Vegetables:
• Wash the vegetables.
• Take out the pits and cut off any spoiled
parts.
• Slice the vegetables into pieces.
• Boil the vegetables for 1-5 minutes and
place in cold water then rub dry.
