reach a normal charging voltage of 13.6V and the charger will switch to standby mode. The boost process will
stop as soon as the battery voltage reaches a voltage of 13.6V and the charger will automatically switch to
charging mode and will continue the normal charging process.
PULSE FUNCTION TO RESCUE DEEP DISCHARGED BATTERIES
When charger is connected to a battery, before starting a charging process, it automatically detects the
voltage of the battery.
If voltage is below 4.5V (for 12V battery) and 15V (for 24V battery), thanks to its internal safety circuit, the
charger will not start to deliver current.
If voltage is in the range from 4.5V±0.29V to 10.5V±0.29V (for 12V batteries) or from 15V±0.5V to 21V±0.42V
(for 24V batteries), the charger will activate the pulse charging mode. This pulse charging process goes on till
the battery voltage will reach a value of 10.5V±0.29V (for 12V batteries), or to 21V±0.42V (for 24V batteries).
Once this charge level is reached, the charger will start the initial charging mode selected by the user and the
battery shall be charged quickly and safety. Thanks to the pulse charging mode, you may rescue most part of
deeply discharged batteries.
PROTECTION AGAINST FAULTS
In the case of short circuit, open circuit, polarity reversal or battery voltage below 4.5V±0.29V (for 12V
batteries), or 15V±0.5V (for 24V batteries), the built-in electronic system will turn off the battery charger and
will reset the system to standby position
in order to avoid damages to the battery and to the charger. In
addition, in case of polarity reversal, the LED will light up to signal the error.
TEMPERATURE PROTECTION
If, for any reason, the temperature of the charger increases too much during the charging process, the
appliance will reduce its output power in order to protect itself against possible damages.
CHARGE FUNCTION FAULT PROTECTION
If the battery charger remains in charge mode longer than 41 hours (416Ah cut-off) the charger will
automatically turn off, cutting off any current deliveries and the failure LED will start blinking. This protection
prevents damages in case of faulty batteries.
