TVTYPE
ThisproductsupportsbothNTSC(NationalTelevisionSystemCommittee)
andPAL(PhaseAlternatingLine)televisionbroadcastingstandards.
NTSC:ThisisusedinTaiwan,AmericaandCanadaetc.
PAL:ThisisusedinChina,HongkongandEuropeetc.
MULTI:Whenthisoptionisselected,theunitwilldetectthestandard
automatically.
Note:
Ifawrongselectionismade,theviewingimagewillbeverypoor.In
suchcase,youaresupposedtochangetheoptioninthisitemtofix
theerror.
PBC(PlayBackControl)
ON:ActivethePBCfunction.
WhenplayingVCD2.0etc,press[MENU]toreturnto
OFF:DisablethePBCfunction.
Note: This function only works with those discs encoded with PBC
functionsuchasVCD2.0,SVCD,etc.
DVD,VCD1.1,CD-DAandMP3dischavenoPBCmenu.

Selectapreferredaudiolanguage,subtitlelanguageanddiscmenu
languageintheseitems.
Youcanalsomakeselectionoftheaudiolanguagebyusingthe[AU -
DIO]andthesubtitlelanguagebythe[SUBTITLE]ontheremotecontrol.
Note:Iftheselectedlanguageisnotavailableforthecurrentlyplaying
disc,thedisc’sdefaultaudio/subtitlelanguagesettingworks.
PARENTAL
Thisitemallowstheusertosetamaximumratingofthemoviesthatcan
beviewed.Moviesratedhigherthanthelevelsetfortheparentallock
cannotbeviewed.
And,tokeyinthecorrectpasswordisneededtoresetthelevel.The
initialfactorypasswordis136900.
