SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 

When using the machine, always observe the 

enclosed safety instructions as well as the 

additional safety instructions. 

 

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR 

PLANERS 

Before using the tool, make sure that the 

cutters have been properly mounted. 

Do not use the tool before it has been fully 

adjusted according to the instructions. 

Before planing, let the tool run without load to 

check if the cutters are properly balanced. 

Never load the tool so much that the motor is 

coming to a standstill. 

When planing, shavings may assemble in the 

grooves. Do not remove the shavings with your 

hands - use a piece of wood. 

Only use the cutter cylinder and cutters 

supplied with the tool. 

Use original accessories only. 

Only use sharp cutters. 

If you want to make adjustments to the tool, 

switch it off, wait for the cylinder to come to a 

standstill and unplug the tool. 

Switch off the tool and wait for the cutters to 

come to a standstill before putting the tool 

down. Reduce the planing depth to avoid 

contact between the cutters and other objects. 

 

ELECTRICAL SAFETY 

Always check that the power supply 

corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate. 

 

 

 

 

DESCRIPTION (fig. 5) 

Your planer has been designed for planing 

wooden workpieces. This tool is not suitable for 

stationary use. 

1 On/off switch 

2 Lock-off button 

3 Shavings discharge outlet 

4 Planing depth adjustment knob 

6 Planing base 

7 Parking shoe 

 

Replacing the cutters (fig. 7) 

Place the tool on a table with the planing base 

(6) pointing towards you. 

Rotate the cylinder (8) until the first cutter is 

visible. 

Loosen the screws a few turns, into the 

direction as shown. 

Loosen the bolts a few turns, into the direction 

as shown. 

Keep the screening pressed and remove the 

holder with the cutter from 

the cylinder, into the direction as shown. 

Disassemble the parts of the holder so that 

the cutter comes loose. 

The cutter has two cutting edges. When both 

cutting edges are worn, the cutter must be 

replaced. 

Turn the cutter so that the new cutting edge is 

facing upwards or take a new cutter. 

Place the cutter between the parts of the 

holder. 

Keep the screening pressed and place the 

holder with the cutter in the cylinder. 

Re-adjust the cutter. 

Fix the cutter by fastening the bolts, opposed 

to the direction as shown. 

To replace the other cutter, rotate the cylinder 

180° and repeat the steps described above. 

Always unplug the tool before replacing the 

cutters.
